Specialization/Research Interest
Nikayla Reize is a dynamic Canadian biblical scholar focused on the socio-economic aspects of the Sabbath and Jubilee in the early church, including debt forgiveness and wealth redistribution. Her research examines the Sabbath-Jubilee motifs in Isaiah and their development in Luke-Acts, enabling her to engage with the Torah, Hebrew Prophets, Gospels, and the letters of Paul.
